What is the Baby's Relief Foaming Body Wash?

Baby's Relief Foaming Body Wash is a soap-free cleanser that has been formulated with a unique blend of mild, yet highly effective skin cleaning surfactants. Unlike many cleanser that use harsh surfactants (like sodium lauryl sulfate) that can strip the skin of its natural oils and actually damage the fragile protective skin barrier of an infant, Foaming Body Wash contains carefully selected surfactants that thoroughly remove dirt but will not sting and will not damage the skin. Baby's Relief Foaming Body Wash aslo contains Therosol, which helps calm and soothe skin. In addition, the cleanser contains a "foam booster" that produces thick, rich cleansing foam that spreads easily across the skin. Baby's Relief Foaming Body Wash is so gentle to the skin that it can be used safely even on skin damaged by rash or dryness.

 

How do I use Baby's Relief Foaming Body Wash?

For best results, apply at least 4-5 pumps of the Foaming Body Wash onto hands to produce a rich later. Gently apply to your baby's skin with a circular motion making sure the foaming lather covers the skin completely. Rinse off with warm water and pat the skin dry. Never rub the skin forcefully with a towel or any other cloth as this may damage the skin's protective barrier. The cleanser is gentle enough to be used as often as desired.

 

Are there any concerns I should know about regarding the use of Baby's Relief Foaming Body Wash?

There are no known concerns regarding the use of this product. However, as with any skin care product you should avoid getting the cleanser in eyes, and if irritation develops, discontinue use.

Decyl Glucoside, Sodium C14-C16 Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate

These gentle surfactants effectively remove oils, makeup and dirt without damaging the skin’s protective barrier.

Glycerin

This excellent humectant absorbs and retains moisture in the skin. It is extremely mild when applied topically, and can be used at high concentrations.

PEG 2M

PEG 2M is a foam booster that is commonly used in shaving creams to produce a rich lather.

Therosol®

Therosol® is a proprietary and patent-pending botanically derived ingredient discovered by DermaMedics’ scientists. Laboratory research studies on cultured human skin cells have shown that Therosol® can block the production of inflammatory hormones in a variety of skin and immune cells that cause vasodilation, irritation and skin damage. In this cleanser, it helps to calm the skin and reduce the appearance of redness.

Propylene Glycol

Propylene glycol is an excellent humectant and thus helps absorb and retain moisture in the skin. Propylene glycol is commonly confused with Ethylene glycol with is commonly used in anti-freeze. Propylene glycol is so safe that it is used in food and in prescription medications and is recognized as safe by the FDA.

PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate

This acts as both a non-irritating emulsifier as well as an emollient to soften and smooth skin.
